Eberhardt TRAVEL expands health travel programme across Europe for 2027

New 2027 portfolio combines wellness, physical activity, nutrition and cultural experiences in destinations from Poland and the Czech Republic to Italy, Hungary and Bulgaria

Eberhardt TRAVEL has unveiled its 2027 health travel programme, bringing together active holidays, wellness treatments and restorative stays across Germany and several European destinations. The new Kur & Wellness / Bade & Bergurlaub 2027 catalogue ranges from yoga and Nordic walking to thermal bathing, fasting programmes and guided cycling tours.

Rather than focusing exclusively on traditional spa stays, the programme combines movement and relaxation with selected treatments, conscious nutrition, cultural excursions and regional experiences. Guests can choose between more active itineraries and holidays centred on rest and wellbeing, with activities including Pilates, aqua gymnastics, hiking, cycling and dancing.

Poland combines fasting, wellness and coastal stays

Poland plays a prominent role in the 2027 portfolio. An eight-day health trip to Kołobrzeg combines an alkaline-focused diet with aqua gymnastics and Nordic walking. The programme also includes treatments such as mud packs, inhalations, cold therapy and visits to a salt grotto.

In Świeradów-Zdrój, the focus shifts towards respiratory wellbeing and relaxation. The "Atemwege und innere Ruhe" package includes inhalations, salt grotto sessions and hydrojet massage, complemented by the hotel's bathing, sauna and wellness facilities.

Another programme in Świnoujście offers either "Clean & Detox" or "Relax & Ageless Elixier", depending on the travel date. Wellness and beauty treatments are combined with half board, live cooking and access to bathing and sauna facilities.

Kołobrzeg also features in a programme designed for solo travellers, bringing together dancing, yoga and a wellness treatment with shared excursions to the city, the Pomeranian Amber Coast and Koszalin.

Hiking and thermal bathing on Italy's Ischia

In Italy, Eberhardt TRAVEL combines physical activity with the volcanic landscape and thermal traditions of Ischia. Four guided hikes take guests through the island's countryside, including the Nitrodi spring and Monte Epomeo.

Depending on the departure date, the itinerary also includes a visit to the La Mortella botanical garden, an island tour or a day at the Poseidon thermal gardens. The concept places outdoor activity alongside the thermal bathing for which the island has long been known.

Small-group cycling through Czech spa towns

A Czech Republic itinerary combines two guided e-bike tours with visits to Karlovy Vary, Mariánské Lázně, Františkovy Lázně and the German spa town of Bad Elster. With a maximum of twelve participants, the programme links cycling with the architecture and spa culture of the historic resort towns.

Hungary provides another combination of wellness and cultural touring. A stay in Hévíz includes bathing, wellness and physical activities alongside excursions to Lake Balaton, Tihany and Keszthely. A promenade cruise and a Hungarian evening in Sümeg are also part of the programme.

Bulgaria adds Black Sea wellness option

On Bulgaria's Black Sea coast, Eberhardt TRAVEL is supplementing its individually bookable hotel programme with an eight-day group holiday combining relaxation and wellness.

Guests stay at a four-star beach hotel in Golden Sands, with wellness treatments complemented by excursions to Varna and Balchik. The programme reflects the broader approach of combining time at a resort with opportunities to explore the surrounding destination.

Health travel designed for different needs

"Mit unserem Gesundheitsreisen-Programm möchten wir Menschen mit unterschiedlichen Bedürfnissen ansprechen. Manche Gäste wollen sich bewegen und Neues ausprobieren, andere suchen Ruhe, bewusste Ernährung oder die Verbindung von Natur, Kultur und Entspannung. Unsere Reisen sollen Freude bereiten und Impulse geben, die sich in den Alltag mitnehmen lassen", says Sandra Mahr, travel manager for the Polish Baltic coast and southern Poland at Eberhardt TRAVEL and responsible for the company's Kur & Wellness travel segment.

Eberhardt TRAVEL defines the programmes as holidays focused on activity, relaxation and wellbeing rather than medical treatment. The operator stresses that they are not intended to replace medical advice, treatment or rehabilitation. Travellers with existing medical conditions or physical limitations are advised to consult a doctor before booking programmes involving exercise, fasting or specific treatments.

The company's new catalogues cover health, spa and wellness holidays alongside round trips, cruises, active travel, holidays for solo travellers and its YOUNG-Line portfolio in Europe and destinations worldwide.
